Retirement of Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary

Port of Tauranga announces that long-serving Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, Colin Boocock, has advised the Board he will retire from the Company on 30 June 2007.

In making the decision with some regrets, Mr Boocock said it is time to pursue other business and personal challenges and has absolutely no intention of "putting his feet up".

He said the Company has a very strong supportive management team and in his view, is poised for a significant period of sustained growth that given the Company's location, quality asset base, staff relations and road/rail transport links, cannot be duplicated at any other port.
