Port of Tauranga Appoints New Director

The Port of Tauranga today announced that Bill Baylis has been appointed as an independent Director, effective 22 February 2006.

Bill Baylis is Chairman of Cottonsoft, Dairy Meats (NZ), Pyne Gould Guinness (previously Reid Farmers), Naylor Love Enterprises, Fiordland Travel and Director of Blackhead Quarries and AFFCO Holdings.

He is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the NZ Institute of Management, has held a number of positions within the New Zealand Society of Accountants and has broad agribusiness governance experience.
